Open Shop

Our regular Open Shop schedule is:

• Every Tuesday evening from 6-9pm

• Every Friday from 9am-12pm

• 4th Saturday of the month from 9am-4pm (double session)

Open shop gives makers the opportunity to access the shop/studios and equipment to work on their own projects at their own pace. The cost of an open shop session is $10/person (this fee is waived for members).

Participation Prerequisites:

Ceramics: In order to work in the ceramics studio, open shop participants must attend a ceramics orientation session, where they will receive the necessary training before working with equipment in the ceramics studio. Please click below to register for an upcoming session:

Woodworking: In order to work in the wood shop, participants must attend a woodshop orientation session, where they will receive the necessary safety training before working with equipment. Please click below to register for an upcoming session:

Mixed Media: There is no prerequisite to working in the mixed media space, but we do request that you take a tour of OSM, attend a meetup, or take a class before signing up for open shop sessions.
