Word of the Year Meetup

At the start of a new year, many folks choose a word of the year, an intention, or a verse to set the tone for the coming year. For some, this is a spiritual exercise, while for others this is a goal-orienting activity.

This year we are continuing our tradition of holding a “Word of the Year” meetup, and we invite you to join us to collage your "word" or phrase so that you have a visual reminder with you throughout the year. Bring old books or photos to use, or peruse our collection of supplies.

The meetup is free, but we ask that you register below.

Mixed Media Meetups have moved to a new model!

We are no longer meeting monthly, but have transitioned to periodic sessions, including regular meetups, family art nights, and more. We encourage makers who have projects they would like to work on in a collaborative environment to attend our Open Shop sessions. A limited selection of materials and equipment will continue to be available for use.
