Invitation to all Makers!

Old School Makerspace is seeking artwork for the upcoming autumn-winter exhibition. The theme for the show is loosely darkness and evil, exploring the shadows that touch the human experience: the hidden struggles of the heart, the reality of brokenness, the suffering that arises from darkness and evil, and the longing for hope in the midst of darkness. We hope to assemble a collection that invites visitors to thoughtfully engage with these themes, to seek understanding, and to discover the possibility of light and renewal even in the darkest places.

“The devil accomplishes a large part of his work by the simple method of keeping people from thinking.” — Flannery O’Connor

“If there is no God, everything is permitted.” — Fyodor Dostoyevsky

“For evil has no positive nature; but the loss of good has received the name ‘evil.’” — Augustine
