What: Discover the joy of working wood by hand in this three-day summer workshop designed for youth ages 11–17. Participants will learn the fundamentals of layout, how to saw, chisel, plane, and bore—all while crafting their own traditional wooden tool tote using only hand tools. Each participant will complete a hands-on introduction to sharpening, joinery, and safe tool handling, fostering patience, confidence, and craftsmanship. No prior experience is necessary—just curiosity, focus, and a willingness to create something real. Class size is limited to ensure personal instruction.
