What: Join us for a fun, beginner-friendly sewing workshop where you’ll learn the basics of sewing while creating a sturdy, practical farmers market tote! We’ll work step-by-step through a simple sewing pattern to construct a durable bag with thick straps and extra pockets for keeping your market finds organized. Along the way, you’ll practice essential sewing skills like accurate cutting, seam allowances, pressing, topstitching, and constructing a finished project you’ll actually want to use.
No sewing experience is required for this workshop but some knowledge of sewing machines is preferable, not required. We will be helping along the way!
Cost: $75 (scholarships available)
